Shipping policy

Kupu Aotearoa is a small whānau-led brand based on the Kapiti Coast. Every order is printed, packed, and sent out with genuine care. Below is everything you need to know about how we ship.

Shipping Within Aotearoa

We currently ship nationwide within New Zealand.

  • Standard Shipping: $7.50 flat rate nationwide (including rural)

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $150

All parcels are sent via tracked courier services.

Processing Times

Each item is printed in small batches, so our processing times are:

  • 1-3 business days for standard orders

  • 3-5 business days during peak periods (Matariki, Christmas, major drops)

A tracking email will be sent once your order has been shipped.

Delivery Timeframes

After dispatch, delivery times are:

  • North Island: 1–3 business days

  • South Island: 2–4 business days

  • Rural addresses: Allow an extra 1–2 days

Public holidays and courier backlogs may affect these estimates.

International Shipping

We currently ship within New Zealand only.
International shipping is in development and will be announced soon.

Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your delivery details are correct.
If your parcel is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we are happy to re-send it, but an additional delivery fee will apply.

Missing, Damaged, or Late Parcels

We would be gutted if something slipped through our strict quality control process.

Contact us within 14 days (the earlier the better) of delivery if:

  • Your parcel arrived damaged

  • Tracking has not updated for an unusual length of time

  • An incorrect item was sent

  • Your order has not arrived within expected timeframes

Pre-Orders

Pre-order shipping timeframes will be clearly noted on each product page.
Orders that include both in-stock and pre-order items will be shipped together unless arranged otherwise.

Sustainable Packaging

We use recyclable or compostable packaging wherever possible.
Aroha extends to our whenua, so we aim to minimise waste in our shipping process.
